What is Blue Light?
Sunlight is made up of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet light. When combined, it becomes the white light we see. Each of these has a different energy and wavelength.

Conversely, at night, the absence of blue-rich light can stimulate the production of Melatonin, which is a kind of hormones which helps to regulate our sleep-wake cycle. The production and release of melatonin help to slow down our metabolism.
