WHAT ARE PHOTOCHROMIC LENSES?

When they are exposed to ultraviolet light, the molecular structure begins to change shape. This reaction causes the lenses to become a uniformly colored state. Once the lenses are out of sunlight, the molecules return to their usual form, and the lenses become transparent again.
